Sale of assets

Five years after the signing of the operational convention, the EPF sells the goods according to the wish of the local community. Assets can be sold:

  • either directly to the community
  • or to any other person officially designated by the community (e.g. a developer).

If needed, the duration of land ownership can be extended or reduced at the community's request.

The sale price of these assets is made up of the purchase price (main price, attorney fees and compensations) and the ownership costs (land taxes, cost of maintenance, security measures, guarding...). This sale price is lowered by the EPF's participation if the operation includes social rental housing.
