Membership

The Board of Governors is made up of 32 members called governors.

Among them :

• eight members are designated by the Conseil régional,
• eight members are designated by the conseils généraux of Nord and Pas de Calais (4 each)
• eight members represent intermunicipal structures (communautés urbaines, communautés d'agglomération and communautés de communes), known as EPCIs (Etablissement Public de Coopération Intercommunale), specifically:
  • One representative of the Communauté Urbaine de Lille
  • One representative of the Communauté Urbaine d'Arras
  • One representative of the Communauté Urbaine de Dunkerque
  • The representatives of five other EPCIs, two of them in the Nord department and three in the Pas de Calais department.
• Eight members representing the professions and trades involved in the issue of land in Nord-Pas de Calais, specifically:
  • Four representatives of the Conseil Economique et Social Régional
  • Two representatives of the Chambre Régionale de Commerce et d'Industrie
  • One representative of the Chambre Régionale d'Agriculture
  • One representative of the Chambre Régionale des Métiers

8 persons have a right to attend the Board of Governors' meetings. They are:

• the préfet of the Nord-Pas de Calais region, who is also préfet of the Nord department
• the préfet of the Pas-de-Calais region
• the directeur régional de l’équipement (1)
• the directeur régional de l’agriculture et de la forêt (2)
• the directeur régional de l’environnement (1)
• The director of the EPF,
• the controller
• the EPF's accountant

(1) Today, the Direction Régionale de l’Equipement and the Direction Régionale de l’Environnement have been merged into the Direction Régionale de l'Environnement, de l'Aménagement et du Logement (DREAL)
(2) Today, the Direction Régionale de l’Agriculture has become the Direction Régionale de l'Agriculture, de l'Alimentation et de la Forêt (DRAAF)
