Why ?
The EPF operates with the region's local communities or on behalf of the state to enable these communities to settle the land issues they face when defining, launching and carrying out their projects.
While the agency's initial tasks in the 90s were focused on the resorption of industrial brownfields, they have evolved with the emergence of new issues:
- The renewal of towns on themselves
- integration of soil pollution issues
- new development of social housing offer
- setting up a green and blue pattern on the regional territory
- controlling suburbanisation
Over the years, taking charge of the land aspects of these issues for local communities has led the agency to develop its skills, methods and means, both human and financial.
In this spirit, and faced with the current global economic and real estate crisis, which also affects our country and our region, the agency has started to readjust its means of intervention, in order to support local communities' projects during these difficult stages.
