Former park of La Galoperie – Anor

The former leisure park of La Galoperie, located in the commune of Anor along the Belgian border, stretches over nearly 50 ha, with 10 ha of pools. The park was closed in 1985 and the commune wishes to build on the quality of the site's landscape to develop leisure and tourism activities.

In this framework, the EPF rehabilitates the park, which includes former facilities such a restaurant, a dance club and a go-kart track.

With Valétudes as main contractor, the companies Camblin and Alisa.D are in charge of asbestos cleaning and the demolition of all existing structures, including the "delphinarium". This particular facility required the use of a specific demolition method.

This operation is financed by the Anor commune and the EPF. It will last 4 months and will be completed before the end of 2009.
